Greg Zwakman, Research Manager, Quantitative Services

As manager of The 451 Group’s Quantitative Services, Greg oversees the development and maintenance of the company’s Market Monitor product line. The Market Monitor provides market sizing, share and growth forecasts for emerging enterprise technology markets including virtualization and cloud computing. Greg also serves as an analyst in the company’s Financial Strategies group catering to institutional investors.

Prior to transitioning to The 451 Group, Greg was the Vice President and Director of Equity Research for Tier1 research, a subsidiary of The 451 Group. Greg joined Tier1 in January 2003 as a Research Analyst focusing on the IT services marketplace. Mr. Zwakman joined Tier1 from Apple Computer’s financial planning and analysis group. Prior to Apple, Greg worked as a consultant for LECG. Prior to LECG, Greg spent approximately five years in equity research for Robertson Stephens and US Bancorp Piper Jaffray. During his Wall Street experience, Greg covered companies in the e-services, industrial and business services industries. Mr. Zwakman holds a BS in Management with an emphasis in finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
