As software reporter Simon brings to the451 his experience at the business end of the IT industry, following a two-year stint digging for the story behind the story in the European reseller channel.
Simon was most recently deputy news editor at Computer Reseller News UK, and was previously senior reporter at CRN and its predecessor PC Dealer, where he covered the software sector. He cut his teeth as an IT journalist at VNU newswire, and prior to this he was a sub-editor on the City Desk at the UK's Press Association.
Simon has a degree in Economics from the University of Central Lancashire, UK.
