Daniel covers emerging and established companies that deliver content to wireless devices, as well as those working on Voice over IP and other voice-related technologies. He also writes about newly funded and other startup companies for the451.
After receiving his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Cruz, Daniel spent two years as a technical support engineer on Borland International's Quattro Pro team. He has five years of reporting experience under his belt, covering legal, finance and political issues. Before coming to the451's San Francisco bureau, he worked at San Francisco-based webcaster start-up Zatso, covering the Birmingham, Alabama area.
Daniel has a master's degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
