Karen has 15 years of experience writing about the telecommunications and IT markets and her views are available exclusively to the451 members.
Most recently, Karen was editor-in-chief of tele.com magazine, which tracks the converging Internet and telecommunications market. She has also participated in the launch of several publications including Communications Week International and Communications Week.
Holding positions as reporter and editor, she covered telecommunications policy for eight years from Washington; the European market from Paris for three years; and business and technology from New York for four years.
Karen has a degree in journalism from Pennsylvania State University, US. She won two Neal Awards from the American Business Press Association in 1999, and was a McAllister Fellow at North Western University's school of Journalism in February 2000.
